These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MathsEazy service ("Service"), operated by AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in South Africa. By using the Service you enter into a contract with AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd and agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, sending a message to our WhatsApp number, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf.

2. The Service

MathsEazy provides CAPS-aligned Mathematics tutoring assistance to South African learners via WhatsApp, including AI-generated step-by-step solutions, photo question support, and access to past-paper practice material.

3. Account & accuracy

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for all activity under your account or phone number.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, spam, or harassment;
  • infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • upload malware or attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the Service;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs;
  • circumvent technical limits, rate limits, or paywalls.

5. AI-generated content

The Service uses generative AI to produce explanations and solutions. You are responsible for your prompts, how you use any output, and for verifying accuracy before relying on it. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are intended as study assistance, not as a substitute for qualified educational, professional, or examination advice. You retain responsibility for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.

You may not use the Service to generate illegal content, hate speech, deepfakes, malware, sexual content involving minors, or content intended to harass any person. We may remove, restrict, or filter content, refuse outputs, and suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these rules. Rights holders may contact us to request takedown of infringing content.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal study within your selected plan. All other rights are reserved.

7. Service level

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and renewals are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd from any claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
